A DAY WITH SNAKES, tortoises, other reptiles, and Nat Geo fame Gowri Shankar. Join the 9th edition of this limited seat certification workshop this Republic day 2018!

STORM – Scientific Training on Reptile Management. The activity for kids including students doing science projects, enthusiasts who would like to hone their knowledge on snake handling or others who want to learn about snakes up close, snake bite management, this comprehensive workshop is an open door to learning about reptiles at the children park. STORM session will promote new areas of interest and new science experiments for kids.

Location: The Chennai Snake Park Guindy, children’s park guindy A/C hall. Google Maps link.

Who is conducting the camp?
Gowri Shankar has been involved with reptiles and children activities for more than a decade and has worked at some of the premier reptile conservation centres in India. He is an authority on the ecology of king cobras and has been featured in several wildlife documentaries like the King and I, Secrets of the King Cobra, Asia’s Deadliest Snake, and Wildest India by BBC, National Geographic Channel, NatGeoWild and Discovery Channel respectively.
